Outings take place on weekdays and can last from an hour to an entire day; the average is about three hours. Most trips include a lunch stop to provide more time for socializing.
Participants usually carpool, keeping costs down. The drivers appreciate a donation toward gas and tolls, but this is not mandatory. Participants are asked not to wear scented products. Admission to tours and museums can range from free to $35. Participants each pay their own way.
