Celebrating over 100 Years of Service

Workshops

The Club has routine access to the main hall of the Corte Madera Community Center on Tuesdays from 11am to 2:30pm. This privilege is due to the Club’s collaboration with the Lions Club to build the Center back in the 1950’s.

On the first Tuesday of the month (October through June) we offer workshops. A workshop can be a hands-on activity,  a presentation geared to a smaller group or an outdoor activity. Often we take something home that we’ve created. Members share their knowledge and expertise and offer the activity at moderate to no cost.

Workshop forums focus on civic topics relevant to town government or local schools. In November 2022 Lolma Olson spoke on "Understanding our Transgender and Non-binary Friends and Family Members." Click here for slides, a list of resources for additional learning and listen to Lolma's talk.
